Due to ongoing expansion, Umatilla Electric Cooperative saw the need for a new facility in Boardman, Oregon. The project includes a business lobby and offices, drive-up window for business conducted during operating hours, drive-up kiosk for 24-hour payments, five truck bays, warehouse, crew quarters, dispatch, large conference room, and outside storage for poles and transformers. The new facility will enable Umatilla Electric Cooperative to have improved response times and provides their members with a greater range of on-site services and conveniences. The project was designed keeping energy efficiency as a priority in heating and cooling systems and includes LED lighting throughout.
