The client came to us with a vision to bring their two practices together into one facility, with additional space provided for future tenants and/or expansion of their practice. Since the project site is in a prominent location adjacent to a motorway where over 50,000 commuters pass every day, the design concepts were focused on utilizing that visibility for the doctor’s practice.
The resulting 25,444 square foot building created a large presence adjacent to the commuter traffic. The building has a grand two-story rotunda entry that creates an inviting meeting place before patients and clients disperse to the particular suite they are visiting.
The doctor’s two practices were designed as separate spaces. DermaCare includes a large reception area, two consulting rooms, seven exam rooms, nurse area, and support spaces. DermaHealth includes a large reception area, four exam rooms, a surgery area and support spaces, a separate surgery family waiting area, and support rooms. The two practices are divided by a common lunch room and an outdoor patio.
Future tenants in the 3,830 square foot space on the first floor and 7,456 square foot space on the second floor will enjoy the benefits of a premium location in a building that takes full advantage of the visibility.
