Built adjacent to H & N Electric’s existing facility in Pasco, Washington, the new building consists of 44,580 square feet. It houses equipment providing capability for state-of-the-art motor and gearbox repair on large electric motors, wind turbine generators, and industrial gearboxes. The well-equipped facility features a fifty-ton crane lift capacity with 35 feet of clearance under the hook, 20 work station jib cranes, a large-capacity vacuum pressurized impregnation (VPI) system, large-capacity burn and bake capability, enhanced machining services, and dedicated production bays for small- to large-sized motor repair.
The project also included the remodel of 9,765 square feet of existing interior spaces for ten administrative workstations, a large conference/training room for 100 occupants, and lunch/break room capable of accommodating 75 workers.
